What are you waiting for?

 

 

Warren Buffett famously said that you are your best investment. And you know what? He was 100% right!

When you invest in yourself, you improve your life and the lives of those around you.

 

 

So, I’m curious, where do you fit in when it comes to investing your money or your time?

Do you put yourself last because other priorities are vying for your attention–or do you think that you’re not worth it?

Do you say you’ll start taking care of yourself when…

When the kids are in school

When the kids are out of school

When you get that promotion

When you finish that project

When things are less hectic with work/home/family

Do you put anything and EVERYthing in front of taking care of your health?

 

 

A lot of people think this way. They wait for the “perfect” time to get started.

The only problem with this type of “destination thinking” is that you seldom get to that perfect place and time. Instead, something else often sneaks in as a new obstacle.

You might have even made a plan to get in a workout today. But then you remember there’s laundry to fold, dishes to wash, and floors to vacuum.

But is any of that more important than creating a healthier version of yourself?

And then there’s the money. Do you tell yourself that it’s more important to buy a car or invest in stocks than it is to join a gym, buy healthier food, or work with a coach?

A new car is nice, but the moment you drive off the lot, it’s already losing value. And the same goes with just about anything else you can buy.

The truth is there will always be bills to pay and tasks on your to-do list

When you invest in your health, you begin the process of improving right away. That means you’re getting a positive ROI (return on investment) versus the car that starts losing value right away.

 

 

So, I have a quick question for you.

How do you want to feel a year from now?

That might seem like a straightforward question, but I invite you to take your time answering it.

What would it feel like to lose 10, 20, 50, or more pounds or get rid of that spare tire around your waist?

How amazing would it feel to wake up energized instead of feeling sluggish and achy as you stumble to the coffee maker?

What if you could slow or reverse the aging process so you like what you see in the mirror?

What if you could manage or prevent those chronic diseases that you think you have to settle for because everyone else tells you they’re a part of getting older

Stop waiting for the perfect time. 

 

 

There is no better time than NOW to give yourself the gift of a healthier, happier, more vibrant, energetic, and resilient Y-O-U!

Start where you are–as perfectly imperfect as the time may seem.

Each day that you wait, your goal gets just a bit further away. Do you want to make it easier on yourself or harder?

So, decide how you want to feel a year from now, and take one small step to get there. You don’t need to do it all at once; take one action at a time. Pause and check in with yourself, and then take another small step.
