Creating Habits that Stick

To become healthier, we need to bring our daily habits into alignment with our goals, but what does that really mean? It means that we need to look at things that we do day-in and day-out for better or for worse. And then we need to see how those habits play a part in who we are–and in who we want to be. Often times, we think that we need to make big changes in order to see any progress. This isn’t always the case.

“The key to building lasting habits is focusing on creating a new identity first. Your current behaviors are simply a reflection of your current identity. What you do now is a mirror image of the type of person you believe that you are (either consciously or subconsciously). To change your behavior for good, you need to start believing new things about yourself.” James Clear
